Hold on to your elf hats because the Edmonton & Area Social Club is about to take over the Edmonton Valley Zoo on December 5! That’s right, this year the Kids Holiday Party is going wild—literally—with one epic night of festive fun. 

Event Details

Along with the animals, the holiday magic, and enough excitement to make Rudolph do a double-take, this year marks the 12th anniversary of the zoo’s Zoominescence: A Festival of Light. Imagine your kids’ faces as they wander through jaw-dropping light displays that are guaranteed to brighten up your night—and possibly their sugar levels (good luck with that). Plus dinner, Santa, and gifts for the kiddos, you won’t just light up the night; you’ll be a legend in their eyes. 

Date: Thursday, December 5, 2024

Time: Zoominescence from 5-9PM, with last entry at 8:00PM

Location: The EdVenture Lodge, located in the main concourse of the Valley Zoo

Approximate Retail Price: $80 for kids and $65 for adults

YOUR AMA STAFF PRICE: $25 for kids (age 13 and younger) and $20 for adults (age 14 and older)

Tickets include:

  • AMA Employee & guests only entrance to the Zoominescence: A Festival of Light
  • Animal Talks with the Zoo Interpreters 
  • Interactions with some iconic Holiday Characters who will be roaming around the Zoo
  • An exclusive 'Kids Holiday Party' only area in the EdVenture Lodge
  • Two sitting times for your convenience 
    • Access the EdVenture lodge will only be available during the chosen sitting time
  • Each one-hour sitting includes:
    • Catered dinner by Bridges' Catering in the 'Classrooms'
    • Time with Santa, and a Gift in the 'Otter Room'
      • Employees will have the option to chose a top pick for this years gift: a curated stuffed animal from the Zootique (we will do our best to accommodate your selection of choice)

 

Tickets Available until Friday, November 15 at 3PM

  • When purchasing tickets, please first select AMA Employee as the registrant type, then you will add additional tickets
  • In order to make this a special event for your children - we have limited the number of adult tickets for purchase to 3 (including the employee)
  • At least one kids ticket should be included in every transaction
  • You will be provided with a wristband at the check-in table the night of the event
  • No physical tickets will be issued
  • We will not be able to accommodate refunds after Thursday, November 21
  • These tickets are non-transferrable
